Kevin Conroy is the founder of the Practice and a Director. He qualified as a solicitor in 1987 and opened KJ Conroy & Co in 2003.
He is a dispute resolution solicitor and litigator and heads up the Personal Injury, Crime and Family departments in the Practice regularly accepting instructions in all 3 areas. Kevin is a member of APIL and Resolution.
Kevin is a great legal tactician and likes nothing better than cross examining witnesses in court.
For the rest he is an absolute sports nut and plays tennis at quite a high level throughout the year. He is also a Racehorse owner.
Howard is a director of the firm. After 26 years nursing mainly in operating theatres Howard switched to law 19 years ago specialising in dispute resolution mainly working in the areas of commercial law including employment, Landlord and Tenant, housing, property and trusts. He is a bit of a Law “nerd” and enjoys legal research into the odd and arcane backwaters of English Law.
He says the oddest thing he has ever been asked was “how do you dispute the title to a grave?”
He is prepared to act on a fixed fee or No Win No Fee basis in suitable cases and regularly advises clients in the background who cannot afford to employ a lawyer to completely take over the case. Recently a client who instructed him on this basis secured a spectacular success in the employment tribunal.
He has a wide range of personal interests; his major hobby is renovating old hand tools and in addition he is a roller-skating coach.
